Hello, I'm Mani.

I'm a product engineer in the SF Bay Area. My background is scientific computing — I've spent over a decade building simulation software for engineering teams — and these days most of my energy goes into AI tools: agents, retrieval systems, and local-first helpers that keep your data on your own machine.

The rest ships at night: open-source plugins, an AI news reader, MCP servers that give agents live data. Away from a keyboard I play cricket, photograph dark skies, and hunt for good vegan food. This journal is where the notes land. If you're building something near these edges, write to me.
